VOS plant 1986

Vos Food Store Equipment Ltd. was founded in 1986 to remanufacture refrigerated display cases.

Our emphasis on Quality and Service led to fast growth until Vos became the largest remanufacturer in Canada. Along the way remanufacturing evolved into supplying Classic case parts and NEW Vos exterior panels and bumpers for existing Supermarket Display Cases, for field installation. Vos has also been a distributor for Lozier grocery shelving and Kes misting systems since our inception.

Growth accelerated rapidly after our move to a larger manufacturing plant in Brantford in 1989. Vos's acceptance in the marketplace allowed us to expand geographically by establishing a sales office in Atlantic Canada in 1994 and distribution in Western Canada, followed by our entry into the US market in 1996. NEW Vos specialty cases were introduced to the marketplace in 1995.

1999 saw Vos not only triple the size of our manufacturing facility, but we also signed a distribution agreement with Arneg/DML to distribute new ARNEG supermarket display cases. Vos also introduced NEW Vos Air Cooled and Remote Air Cooled Condensing units to the marketplace at the same time.

Our plans for the new millennium include a "new look" for our remanufactured cases.
